The Master course is open to students of all nationalities and is jointly offered by a consortium of 5 Universities in 4 different countries: the Institute of Astro- and Particle Physics, University of Innsbruck (Austria), the Department of Physics and Astronomy ”Galileo Galilei”, University of Padova (Italy), the Astrophysics section of the Department of Physics, University of Rome ”Tor Vergata” (Italy), the Institute for Astrophysics, Faculty of Physics, University of Goettingen (Germany), the Department of Astronomy, Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade (Serbia) The selected students will carry out their studies in at least 2 and up to 4 of the AstroMundus consortium universities and will be finally awarded a Joint Master Degree, complemented with a Diploma Supplement, by all consortium universities they have studied at. Applications are now solicited for the Masters Course starting in September 2015. Eligibility The Masters Course is open to students of all nationalities that: Hold a Bachelor degree in Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, or Mathematics or expect to obtain it latest by August of the starting year of the Masters Course (i.e. by August 2014 for the course starting in September 2014); Have a good and certified knowledge of the English language (not necessary for native speakers). Scholarship The scholarships’ terms depend on the student’s country of origin/residence: 1. Erasmus+ Programme countries (EU member states + Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey): Contribution to the participation costs: up to 4.500 € per year Contribution to the travel: 1.000 € per year Contribution to subsistence costs: 1.000 € per month 2. Erasmus+ Partner countries (other countries not included in Programme countries): Contribution to the participation costs: up to 9.000 € per year Contribution to the travel: 2.000-3.000 € per year Contribution to installation costs: 1.000 € per holder Contribution to subsistence costs: 1.000 € per month Application Application deadline is 1 December 2014. Description

  • Contribution to installation costs: 1.000 € per holder
  • Contribution to subsistence costs: 1.000 € per month
